FAQ about POAP Credits.
What are credits?
Credits are a convenient payment method that issuers can purchase and use for future drop requests. These credits act as a balance on your POAP Drops account, making the commercial drop creation process faster and easier.
How do I purchase credits?
To purchase credits, log into your POAP Drops account and click the "Buy more" button. A new page will be displayed. Enter the amount of credits you wish to buy, and the payment will be processed instantly, crediting your account with the purchased amount.
What happens with unused credits?
Unused credits remain in your account and can be used for future drop requests. They do not expire, giving you the flexibility to use them whenever you need.
What happens if I don't have enough credits to cover my drop?
If you don't have enough credits to cover the cost of a drop, you will need to purchase additional credits to complete the drop setup.
What happens if I pay for my POAPs but don't use all of them?
Credits are used based on the quantity allocated to the drop, not on the number of POAPs actually distributed. Credits will not be refunded for any POAPs that remain undistributed.
What happens if I delegate my Drop to another user?
Credits are always drawn from the account that initially created the Drop. By delegating your Drop, you're granting delegates the ability to draw from your credit balance in order to fund the Drop. If you do not have enough credits, delegates will have the ability to fund your account with credits to be applied to the Drop.
Can I submit my request without purchasing credits?
For commercial drops, you must purchase credits before submitting your request. It is not possible to submit a request without purchasing credits first.
Note: A minimum of 100 credits must be allocated even if you intend to request a lesser amount.
Can I transfer credits to another account?
Credit transfers between accounts is not supported. The credits you purchase are tied to your specific POAP Drops account and cannot be transferred to another user. Once credits are applied to a specific Drop, they cannot be transferred to another Drop.
