"Attributing an Artist to your POAP" video tutorial
This guide will walk you through the steps to credit an artist for the artwork associated with your POAP drop.
The “Artist Attribution” feature is a new addition to our POAP Drops platform, designed to support and promote artists by connecting their work with various drops.
1. Log in to your POAP Drops Account
- Go to https://drops.poap.xyz.
- Log in to your POAP account that currently holds the POAP Drop you want to attribute artwork.
2. Open the drop
- Navigate to the specific drop you’d like to add an artist to.
3. Navigate to the "Properties" tab
- Once on the drop’s management page, click on the “Properties” tab. This is where you can manage the artist attribution.
4. Enter Artist information
- In the “Artwork Artist” field, enter the artist’s name or ENS.
- Optional: provide a social link to the artist’s profile or website.
5. Click Save
- After entering the artist’s information, click the “Save” button to submit for review.
6. Approval
- Once approved, the drop will be linked to the artist’s Collection page.
7. View other Attributed Drops
- To see other drops attributed to the artist, search for the artist page on POAP Collections.
- For example, you can visit this artist page to see attributed drops.
💡Notes:
- To "Remove" an artist attribution simply click "remove".
- Attributions can be done as soon as the drop is created. There is no need to wait until POAPs have been distributed.
By using the Artist Attribution feature, you help promote the artist’s work across the POAP ecosystem, fostering a supportive relationship between creators and artists.
