How to Select a Network for Your POAP Drop

POAP now offers issuers the ability to choose from a variety of Networks to mint on when creating their POAP Drop. While POAPs are traditionally minted on Gnosis Chain, issuers can now select from additional options to better suit their needs.

Choosing a network

Choosing your preferred network is simple and happens early in the Drop creation process:

1. Start by Creating Your Drop: Visit our article for instructions on "How to Create a POAP Drop. You will select your preferred network at the time you create your POAP Drop.
2. Select Your Preferred Network: Before choosing your distribution method, you'll see the option to select your desired network. <INSERT IMAGE>

3. Available Networks for POAP Drops:

     Gnosis

   APEChain

   Arbitrum

   Base

   Chiliz

   Polygon

   Celo

   Mantle

   Linea

   Unichain

4. Submit for Review: Once your POAP Drop is created and you have selected a Distribution Method, submit it for review.

Changing Your Network After Approval

If you need to change your selected network after your POAP Drop has been approved, you'll need to contact our POAP Customer Success team. Use the chat bubble located on any POAP website to connect with the Customer Success team.

💡NOTE: Once your Drop begins minting on your selected network, POAP cannot migrate the digital collectibles to a different network. If collectors wish to move their POAPs, they must initiate this themselves using relevant tools for the selected networks.

Choosing the Right Network

Selecting a network is ultimately a matter of personal preference for the issuer. All supported networks offer the same core functionality for POAP Drops, ensuring a seamless experience for both issuers and collectors.

Impact on Collectors experience

The network you choose will not impact the collector's experience. POAPs will appear in their collection in the POAP Home app as usual, with clear identification of

Identifying the network a POAP is minted on

It's easy to see which network a POAP was minted on.

• Visit the POAP Collectors page <insert image>
• Look for the network icon next to the POAP's artwork and details

The icon will clearly display the name of the network so you can quickly identify which network it was minted on. <insert image>
