How to Create a POAP Airship

POAP Airship is an airdrop tool that enables the direct distribution of POAPs to collectors based on their on-chain transactions (ETH, USDC, Arbitrum, Base, OP). This innovative feature expands the possibilities for POAP distribution, allowing organizers to conduct airdrops effortlessly and effectively.

Once the Airship criteria are met and the Airship is published, the process is fully automated creating a hassle-free experience for both issuer and collectors.

⚠️ NOTE: Airships can not be reversed

Before You Begin:

To create a POAP Airship, make sure you have the following:

1. An Approved POAP Drop:
   • Create a POAP Drop and request Mint Links as your distribution method ("How to Create a POAP Drop).
   • 💡NOTE: The quantity you request should be somewhat robust.
2. Defined Recipient Criteria:
   • Wallet address where transactions will be received.
   • Minimum transaction amount required to receive a POAP (e.g. the price of a coffee or a small tip).
3. Airship Parameters:
   • Campaign duration (start and end date/time).
   • Quantity of POAPs you want to offer. 
   • Any additional requirements for participants.
4. Crypto Wallet:
   • Both receiver and collectors will need a crypto wallet.
   • POAP AIrship is permissionless; the issuer must connect and sign to use this product

How to Create your POAP Airship

Step 1: Create a POAP Drop

• Prepare artwork, title, description, and number of collectors.
• Choose Mint Links as the distriution method.
• 💡NOTE: Your Drop must be APPROVED. Without approved mint links, the Airship will be saved as a draft.

Step 2: Go to the POAP Airship Admin Page

• Connect your wallet to sign in (required to create an Airship).

Step 3: Link Your Drop

• Input the Drop ID and Edit code.

Step 4: Configure Your Airship

• Name your Airship (this will be part of the URL).
• Enter the receiving wallet address or ENS.
• Set the transaction amount (e.g. 0.001 ETH).
• Choose the campaign's start and end dates/times.
• Select the supported network(s):
  • Ethereum Mainnet
  • OP Mainnet
  • Base
  • Arbitrum One

Step 5: Publish the Airship

• Click "Publish"
• Review the confirmation details and click "Publish" again if everything looks correct.

Step 6: Share with your community

• Copy Public URL from the admin page.
• Share it with your intended audience.

 

Manually ending a POAP Airship

Scroll to the bottom of the Airship admin page and click "Finish".
